Beginner's Crochet Class - 6 Week Course with Crochet Bouquet Commencing Saturday 20 April
Commencing Saturday 20 April 2.00 - 4.00 - £120
All you need to crochet is to know how to do two things: Yarn over and pull up a loop. Then you can do anything.
This is a 6-week course, aimed at teaching you all the crochet skills you will need from week one learning the foundations and fundamentals, to the final week being able to add all the flourishes and decorative stitches.
You will have 24 squares at the end of this course, that you can sew together to create a final project of your choice - be it a blanket, a scarf, a couple of cushions, a floor cushion. Or you could keep adding to your blanket to make a massive throw!
You'll also get a binder of all your different square patterns, and to keep your beginner's guide in so you can refer back to them as needed.
NOTE: The cost covers all 6 weeks of the course, working out at £20 a week.

Windchimes With Sophie Waite Ceramic Saturday 11 May *FULL*

Join us for a relaxed workshop making a windchime. Each windchime will be created with various different parts which when they come together create a beautiful sound. Cutters, stamps, textures and underglazes will be available to decorate your pieces.

Family Fusion with The Glass Duck Saturday 25 May
Saturday 25 May 10.30-12.00 - £25
This Workshop is suitable for adults and children 6 years +
You will taught how to design and make a 10 x 10 cms fused glass heart or square hanging or a square tealight.( £3 surcharge for a tealight, payable at the workshop)
Both are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
You will decorate the base piece of glass using glass pieces, frits (glass sprinkles) and stringers (thin strands of glass).
Glass enamel paints will also be available to add fine detail or writing.
The glass pieces will then be fired back at The Glass Duck studio and will be returned to The Mulberry Bush for collection the following week.
